As H&T Pawnbrokers continues to grow with more stores and GoldBars opening every year, the eternal question plays on everyones mind.. Who is better at football? GoldBar or the Stores? Deciding that this question has gone unanswered for too long, the first annual H&T Football match took place earlier this month.
Held at Tooting and Mitcham FC, the two teams played their hardest, while supporters looked on in awe. The GoldBar team emerged victorious, with a 10-6 win over the stores.
The day didn’t end there, with a bouncy castle, coconut shy, basketball challenge, pick-a-lolly game, raffle, tombola and our very own Regional Manager in the stocks!
Neil Edwards, H&T Store Manager, commented ‘It was a fantastic event and we raised £1270 for our company charity, Get Kids Going! With this level of success we hope to make it an annual event, – giving the Stores a chance at winning the trophy again while raising money for a really worthwhile charity.’
