In 2010 H&T Pawnbrokers adopted Get Kids Going! as their corporate charity partner and committed to raising £50,000 in the 2 year lead up to the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Get Kids Going! is a national charity which gives disabled children and young people up to the age of 26 the opportunity to participate in sport. Get Kids Going! provide their beneficiaries with specially built sports’ wheelchairs so they can do anything from athletics to tennis, skiing, rugby, sailing, boccia, basketball, sledge hockey, table tennis, fencing, shooting, archery, power-lifting and many more sports.
H&T have come up with creative and community-focused fundraising techniques to raise £20,000 so far and have some equally exciting projects planned to raise the remaining £30,000.
